Job Description
Commercial Roofing Estimator (Low-Slope) Yosemite Roofing - Commercial Division We are growing our commercial team and looking for an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator who knows how to bid and win low-slope projects. This role is ideal for someone who understands the full estimating process — from take-offs to building tapered systems — and wants to be part of a team that values accuracy, speed, and results. What You'll Do Prepare accurate bids for commercial low-slope roofing projects Perform detailed material take-offs using estimating software Build and design tapered insulation systems Review plans, specs, and addenda to develop competitive proposals Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and suppliers Manage bid deadlines and maintain organized estimate files What We're Looking For 3+ years experience in commercial roofing estimating Strong knowledge of low-slope systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen) Experience with take-off / estimating software Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications Experience building tapered insulation layouts Detail-oriented with strong time management and communication skills Bonus Points Experience working for a commercial roofing contractor Existing relationships with suppliers or GCs Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously What We Offer Competitive salary (based on experience) Performance bonuses tied to awarded work Stable pipeline of commercial projects Opportunity to grow with a scaling commercial division Supportive team environment Location Tyler, TX HQ and open to Hybrid role Apply Send your resume + a brief summary of your estimating experience to: aaron@yosemiteroofing.com
