In this role, you will review project plans, prepare accurate cost estimates, and work closely with clients, subcontractors, and project managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Responsibilities/Duties
- Review project drawings, specifications, and bid documents to prepare detailed cost-estimates.
- Conduct site visits as needed to better understand project scope and requirements.
- Communicate with project managers, clients, vendors, and subcontractors to gather pricing and clarify scope.
- Negotiate pricing to ensure competitive and accurate bids.
- Prepare complete bid package including labor, materials, and equipment costs.
- Track and monitor costs throughout the project lifeline to maintain budget control. Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction estimating.
- Proficiency with construction estimating and bidding software.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and job site operations, including both offsite and onsite construction.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines efficiently.
