This role combines the critical functions of estimating project costs accurately and managing construction processes efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, project scheduling, and cost estimation, with a passion for delivering high-quality results on time and within budget. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless project execution, fostering collaboration among stakeholders, and utilizing advanced construction management software to optimize workflows. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive project estimates by analyzing blueprints, schematics, and contract documents using construction estimating tools such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam. Prepare detailed bids and proposals, including scope of work, cost breakdowns, and schedules. Oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth project execution. Utilize project management software like ProCore, Primavera P6, and Civil 3D to develop schedules, track progress, and manage resources effectively. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately to plan construction activities and resolve technical issues proactively. Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes while maintaining strict time management practices. Supervise construction site activities to ensure safety compliance and quality control. Monitor project progress through regular site visits, progress reports, and coordination meetings. Implement project scheduling strategies that optimize workflow efficiency while minimizing delays. Experience Proven experience in construction management with a focus on estimating and project execution across commercial or civil projects. Strong knowledge of construction site operations, blueprint reading, contracts administration, and schematic interpretation. Hands-on experience with construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6 (or Primavera), HeavyBid, Civil 3D, and Bluebeam. Familiarity with project scheduling techniques and tools like Primavera P6 for detailed planning and resource allocation. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Excellent communication skills for effective project coordination among diverse teams and stakeholders. Civil or construction-related technical background preferred; certifications in construction estimating or project management are a plus.
