This position offers the opportunity to contribute to significant infrastructure development with a team of skilled professionals at a leading design-build firm. About the Project You will support the heavy civil and tunnel estimating team on a high-profile water infrastructure rehabilitation project. The project involves complex mechanical and electrical systems requiring detailed cost analysis and planning. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed electrical and mechanical cost estimates for project bid packages and scope changes Analyze equipment specifications, material costs, and labor requirements Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to ensure accurate cost projections Maintain estimating databases and historical cost records Participate in client meetings and site visits as required Work Arrangement This position is available as a part-time to full-time assignment, primarily remote with periodic on-site and client meetings. Required Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of experience estimating electrical and/or mechanical systems on heavy civil projects Proficiency with industry estimating software (e.g., Timberline, Win Estimator, or RSMeans) Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical construction methodologies Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously Preferred Qualifications Experience with water/wastewater infrastructure projects Familiarity with tunnel construction and rehabilitation work Strong communication and teamwork skills This is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering major capital improvement projects while working alongside industry-leading professionals in project controls, construction management, and program delivery.
Pay:
$95,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
