We are looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team and help us continue growing the right way. Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator with experience in commercial electrical construction estimating. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing multiple bids, reviewing plans/specifications, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors, and building accurate, competitive estimates using McCormick estimating software. Responsibilities Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents Prepare accurate takeoffs and complete estimates for commercial electrical projects Use McCormick estimating software for project estimating and bid preparation Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits when required Coordinate with project managers, field leadership, and company leadership during handoff Track bid opportunities and maintain organized estimate files Help identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions Maintain strong communication with general contractors, clients, and internal teams Qualifications 3+ years of electrical estimating experience preferred Commercial electrical construction experience required Experience with McCormick estimating software preferred Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Strong communication and teamwork skills Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer skills Proficient with Bluebeam Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Performance bonus opportunities Paid holidays and PTO Health insurance options Opportunities for advancement with a growing company Why Join East Bay Electrical?
