Electrical Estimator

Duties Review project plans, specifications, and technical documents to develop comprehensive electrical cost estimates Utilize estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to prepare detailed bid proposals Conduct site visits and review construction drawings to assess scope and identify potential challenges Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to negotiate pricing and scope adjustments Prepare detailed breakdowns of costs related to materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors Monitor project budgets and perform cost control analysis throughout the project lifecycle Assist in contract negotiations and review contractual obligations related to electrical work Support project management teams by providing accurate estimates that align with project timelines and budgets Requirements Proven experience in construction estimating with a focus on electrical systems and projects Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and electrical safety regulations Proficiency in construction estimating tools such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam software Solid understanding of construction management principles, contracts, and project management processes Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers and subcontractors Hands-on electrical experience or construction site experience is highly desirable Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately Exceptional attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills Effective communication skills for collaborating across teams and stakeholders Join us if you're ready to energize your career as an Electrical Estimator!
