In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate project cost estimates, analyzing project plans and specifications, and collaborating closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Your expertise will help ensure competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards, ultimately contributing to the successful delivery of construction projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a key player in shaping project budgets and driving profitability through precise cost control and strategic negotiation. Responsibilities Review project drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop comprehensive estimates. Utilize estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to prepare detailed cost proposals. Conduct thorough quantity takeoffs and analyze material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to refine project scope and pricing strategies. Monitor project budgets during execution to ensure cost control and identify potential overruns early. Prepare bid packages, compile bid summaries, and present estimates for review and approval. Skills Proficiency in construction estimating software including HeavyBid and Bluebeam. Strong negotiation skills to secure optimal pricing and contract terms. Extensive knowledge of construction estimating processes, cost control, and pricing strategies. Hands-on construction site experience coupled with a solid understanding of construction management principles. Familiarity with contracts, project management practices, and construction safety standards. Excellent analytical skills for detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analysis.
