Job Description
Job Overview NGC Construction Inc specializes in the application of Drywall, Plaster/Stucco, Paint, and Construction Clean Up. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Estimator to join our construction team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs, preparing detailed estimates, and supporting the bidding process to secure new projects. Your expertise will help ensure our projects are financially viable, competitive, and aligned with client expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse construction projects while honing your skills in cost analysis and project planning. This is an on-site postition. No remote work is available. Duties Develop comprehensive construction estimates by analyzing project plans, specifications, and bid documents. Collaborate with project managers and clients to gather necessary information for accurate pricing and cost control. Perform quantity take-offs from blueprints and drawings to determine material and labor requirements. Prepare detailed bid proposals, including scope of work, pricing, and schedule estimates that align with project goals. Assist in reviewing contracts and ensuring all estimates comply with contractual obligations and project specifications. Support project management teams during project execution by providing cost updates, tracking expenses, and managing change orders. Skills Solid understanding of construction estimating principles, including cost control, pricing strategies, and budget management. Hands-on construction site experience to better interpret drawings, specifications, and on-site realities. Knowledge of construction management processes, contracts, and project scheduling. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams and stakeholders. Ability to analyze complex data, prepare accurate reports, and adapt estimates based on evolving project needs.
