Full-Time Position Overview A growing commercial mechanical contractor is seeking a motivated Estimator / Project Manager to join its team. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of office and field responsibilities, can manage multiple projects at once, and is comfortable coordinating with customers, vendors, and field crews. The selected candidate will oversee 2-3 concurrent crews/projects while preparing accurate estimates for upcoming commercial HVAC and mechanical work. Entry-level candidates with a Construction Management degree are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Estimating

• Interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications for commercial projects.
• Prepare detailed material and labor takeoffs, pricing, and bid proposals.
• Collaborate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to obtain quotes and clarify scope.
• Assist with value-engineering discussions and preconstruction planning. Project Management
• Oversee 2-3 active commercial HVAC or mechanical projects.
• Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Monitor project budgets, timelines, and documentation.
• Conduct routine site visits to ensure quality, safety, and scope compliance.
• Communicate consistently with customers, field crews, and leadership.
• Manage project documentation, change orders, and closeout requirements. Qualifications Required
• 2+ years of commercial estimating or project management experience.
• Ability to understand and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid driver's license.
• Construction estimating/project management software. Procore or QuoteSoft preferred but not required.
• Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Work Environment
• Standard hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM.
