Title:
Senior High Voltage Estimator (EPC)Remote Salary:
$130,000- $170,000
DOE Summary:
A leading electrical EPC contractor is seeking a Senior High Voltage Estimator to join their growing preconstruction team in a fully remote capacity. This role focuses on large-scale, technically complex utility-grade substation and transmission line projects, often supporting mission-critical infrastructure such as hyperscale data centers. This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced estimator who has true dual capability across both substation and transmission line estimating. You'll play a key role in developing competitive, accurate bids on some of the most sophisticated HV projects in the market, all while working remotely with a high-performing national team. The Senior Estimator will be responsible for:- Leading full-cycle estimating for HV substations and transmission lines
- Performing quantity takeoffs, vendor/subcontractor analysis, and cost modeling
- Reviewing drawings/specs to define scope, risks, and pricing strategy
- Collaborating with engineering teams on design and constructability
- Identifying value engineering opportunities
- Mentoring junior estimators and supporting bid reviews The ideal candidate will have:
- 8-15+ years of high voltage EPC estimating experience
- Proven experience in BOTH substation and transmission line estimating (required)
- Strong background in utility-scale infrastructure
- Experience with complex, redundancy-driven substation designs
- Background with leading contractors preferred
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
