Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager / Estimator to support ongoing and upcoming federal construction projects on military installations and government facilities. Position Summary The Project Manager / Estimator will oversee federal construction projects from preconstruction through closeout while also preparing competitive government estimates and proposals. This role requires strong communication, organizational, and cost-management skills, along with experience working on government and military construction projects. Experience preparing estimates using construction estimating software commonly used in the construction industry is preferred. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing multiple projects, coordinating subcontractors and field personnel, maintaining client communication, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Responsibilities Manage construction projects for federal and military clients from award through completion Coordinate and supervise OK2 Construction workforce, subcontractors, suppliers, and project schedules Maintain communication with government representatives, ownership, and project stakeholders Monitor and manage project budgets, job costs, and overall project financial performance Prepare and submit project invoices and billing documentation Review construction drawings, blueprints, specifications, and contract documents Prepare government estimates and proposal packages Develop and submit required project documentation including: 3064 Schedules 3065 Progress Reports Pricing narratives CLIN-based pricing schedules Review construction and product submittals for compliance and approval Coordinate procurement and material tracking Ensure compliance with federal construction standards and site safety requirements Support project closeout documentation and reporting Travel to project sites as needed Qualifications Experience managing federal construction projects preferred Strong estimating and project management experience in construction Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents Experience with government contracts, reporting requirements, and CLIN pricing structures preferred Strong understanding of project cost tracking and budget management Knowledge of construction safety requirements and procedures Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively Proficient with Microsoft Office Valid driver's license required Must be able to pass a background check to obtain access to military installations Preferred Qualifications Experience working on Department of Defense (DoD) or military base projects Experience with subcontractor management and scheduling Familiarity with federal construction contracting procedures Prior experience supporting Air Force or government facilities projects Experience preparing estimates using construction estimating software commonly used in the industry such as RSMeans, Planswift, Bluebeam, Sage Estimating, Procore, or similar platforms preferred Work Environment Hybrid remote and onsite position Regular site visits required at Eglin AFB, Tyndall AFB, and Hurlburt Field with additional estimating support for projects in other locations as needed. Travel to additional project locations may be required Competitive Pay and Benefits will be offered to qualified candidates.
