We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team on a remote, contract basis.

Position Summary:

The Construction Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for residential construction projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in residential construction, strong takeoff skills, and the ability to work independently under contract.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for: Foundations Framing Flooring & Tile Cabinets Sheetrock Trim & Millwork Doors & Windows Review drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to ensure estimates are complete and accurate. Prepare detailed breakdowns of material, labor, and subcontractor costs. Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to verify scope and pricing. Maintain organized estimate files and documentation for future reference. Meet deadlines and provide timely updates on project progress.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of residential construction estimating experience (required). Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and codes. Proficiency in estimating and takeoff Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently in a remote setting. Professional references required.
