Job Description

Estimator - Heavy Civil Construction Columbia, SC Opportunity for on-the-job training Onsite position The ideal candidate will have a background in IT or Civil Engineering with knowledge of Excel and CAD products. This role offers growth potential and opportunities for advancement

QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Civil Engineering or construction management preferred Proficiency in CAD programs, Excel, and Adobe is a plus Experience with Agtek, Bid to Win, Heavy Bid, or similar software is beneficial Experience in estimating grading and utilities for various projects
Responsibilities:
Provide accurate estimates for labor, equipment, and materials Gain expertise in construction assemblies and project phases Produce estimates from conceptual drawings to final contracts Analyze construction risks and costs effectively Identify value-engineering alternatives and constructability issues Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with stakeholders Utilize software such as Agtek, Trimble Business Center, and Bid2Win for estimating Some regional travel may be required
