Job Description

Job Description Manage all aspects of bid documentation including sub quotes, plans, addenda and due dates. Prepare estimates by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work and enter computer estimating system (Construction Link); review computer printout for accuracy and completeness. Represent company/project in meetings with client, subcontractors, etc. Responsible for putting together the Job Information Sheets and establishing Job Files. Assist with pricing change orders. Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate. Request quotes from suppliers for equipment and materials. Identify qualified suppliers/subcontractors and solicit quotes. Review quotes for completeness with plans and specifications Enter Successful bids into job costing software (HCSS Heavy Job) Itemize and quantify all incidentals necessary in preparing the bid packages including: sub-contract work, equipment rental, tools and supplies The duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing and other duties will be assigned based on the positions role within the business unit. Experience Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or other related discipline preferred. Can be a combination of training, education and relevant work experience that is equivalent. Experience with In-Site/Construction Link/HCSS Heavy Job software preferred.
Pay:
$45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
