Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator with hands-on electrical field experience and a strong background in Electrical estimating. The ideal candidate will be proficient in estimating software, capable of analyzing project plans and specifications, and able to produce accurate, competitive bids for industrial, commercial and/or residential electrical projects. Key Responsibilities Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to prepare detailed electrical estimates Perform quantity takeoffs for materials, labor, and equipment Develop accurate cost estimates and proposals within required timelines Utilize estimating software to build and manage bids Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and vendors Solicit and evaluate supplier pricing Identify potential risks, cost-saving opportunities, and value engineering options Maintain organized records of estimates, takeoffs, and bid documentation Assist with project handoff to operations upon award Qualifications Proven experience in electrical work (field experience required) Prior experience in electrical estimating Proficiency with electrical estimating software Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and construction practices Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Solid math and analytical skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Effective communication and time management abilities Preferred Qualifications Experience estimating commercial or industrial projects Knowledge of local codes and regulations Experience working with general contractors and bid processes Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary (based on experience)
