Job Description:

Elite luxury residential design-build firm is seeking a meticulous and sophisticated Estimator to join our premier team. Specializing in bespoke estate reconstruction, high-end custom remodels, and luxury residential restoration, our firm operates in a private market where architectural integrity, discretion, and perfection are paramount. As our Estimator, you will ensure every luxury project starts with a realistic, transparent, and accurate financial foundation. You will act as the critical bridge aligning high-end project scopes with client budgets through deep collaboration with our internal sales, design, and production teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Estimating & Costing:

Prepare detailed cost assessments at various stages of design and review architectural documents for total scope clarity.

Subcontractor & Vendor Management:

Solicit, review, and compare premium subcontractor quotes to ensure alignment with luxury plans.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner with our Sales Manager on preliminary client pricing and our Production Coordinator to align budgets with project schedules.

Pre-Construction Handoff:

Lead internal handoff meetings by clarifying pricing assumptions, inclusions, and exclusions.

Reporting & Value Engineering:

Track estimate-to-actual variances and contribute luxury-minded value engineering recommendations during design.

Core Competencies Required:

Strong analytical and mathematical skills with uncompromising attention to detail under tight deadlines. Deep knowledge of residential construction methods, high-end materials, custom finishes, and premium market pricing. Proficiency with estimating software, advanced spreadsheets, and construction cost databases. Refined communication skills to clearly articulate technical data to internal leadership and discerning clients alike. A strong background in a high-performing design-build or project management environment.
