Full Job Description Preconstruction and Estimating Opportunity:
Lead Estimator iSuite L.L.C. is seeking a qualified professional to join our Preconstruction and Estimating team. iSuite is a business support services organization formed in 2023. The organization provides business development and pursuit, estimating, safety, accounting, human resources, information technology, marketing, and training services to clients within the Architecture, Engineering, Construction (A/E/C) industry. This shared-services company supports the IMI business units and provides a uniform, employee-based culture founded on our Support the Build mentality. This mentality aligns with our employee-owned company so that all personnel take an owner's mindset approach to our business. iSuite is headquartered in Nashville, TN and has branches in Granite City, IL, Chesterfield, MO and Charlotte, NC. We are currently looking for a Lead Estimator to join our Preconstruction and Estimating team located at our office in Nashville, TN . Our ideal candidate for a Lead Estimator is someone who has 10 + years of mechanical estimating experience. Primary responsibilities for iSuit e's Lead Estimator i nclude: Analyzing each project before it starts and accurately estimating costs related to labor, materials, equipment and other relevant areas based on drawings and specifications. Reviewing and comprehending technical and administrative documents such as Change Orders, Requests (COs) for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotes (RFQs). Compiling complete estimates while working with a team of estimators (piping, plumbing and sheetmetal) to ensure a complete and accurate bid. Determining lists of material takeoffs to define quantities of materials necessary to complete a system. Determining work crews and production rates for performance of required tasks. Breaking down the scope of work into definable tasks. Assisting in the development of bids, scope documents and proposals. Developing pricing changes to existing projects. Developing and maintaining relationships with subcontractors and suppliers. These relationships should have a level of trust and respect from subcontractors and vendors to ensure best numbers on bid day-therefore maintaining relationships with subcontractors and suppliers is crucial. Being well versed in computerized takeoff programs including Autodesk ESTmep or QuoteSoft as well as capable of manual entry, digitizer and on-screen takeoff methods. Primary qualifications for iSuite 's Lead Estimator include: 10+ years of proven working experience in Construction Estimating or a related field is required. Strong knowledge of the Nashville construction market including relationships with general contractors, vendors and subcontracts Strong knowledge of computerized takeoff programs including AutoDesk ESTmep or QuoteSoft as well as being capable of manual entry and on-screen takeoff methods. Strong knowledge of mechanical & HVAC systems, building products, construction details/design and relevant rules, regulations, and industry/quality standards. The ability to develop thorough and accurate estimates and scopes of work/proposal documents. The ability to "fill in the gaps" in the bidding documents to ensure a complete estimate is produced. The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. The ability to use and interact with word processors at a moderate level (cut & paste, templates, document creation). The ability to interact with spreadsheets such as Excel at a moderate level (input, data manipulation, basic programming). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Advanced knowledge of construction accounting and experience reading construction drawings and specifications. Being a self-motivated team member with excellent time management skills. The ability to work within an environment with deadlines while having to multi-task with changing priorities.

Salary Range:
