The inside sales associate works solely out of our main sales office with incoming clients/contractors/suppliers ordering roofing supplies for residential and commercial projects as well as walk-in customers. Other tasks include answering incoming inquiries from customers, generating quotes, following-up with customers, and closing on sales orders.
Responsibilities include:
Answers sales calls Provides quotes, pricing, and creates sales orders Deciphers, anticipates, and confirms clients' needs Facilitates order details & inventory with manufacturing team Coordinates shipping & delivery for orders Establishes and maintains strong client relationships Other duties as assigned
Skills and Experience:
Previous sales and industry experience (building/roofing supplies) at least 1 year Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, clients and vendors Must be willing to learn & retain vast amounts of product knowledge and become familiar with manufacturing process Detail-oriented and highly accurate Excellent communication skills Positive & outgoing attitude Self-motivated, goal oriented High school education or equivalent is required Spanish-speaking a plus Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to/from work
