Although we strive for new construction of facilities, we also aim for the preventive maintenance, daily upkeep, and planned improvements of existing facilities. Concord Commercial Services, Inc. strives to perform each service task in a professional manner to ensure a final quality product while working within the restraints of each individual facility. Project Estimator The Project Estimator serves a vital function in the growth of Concord Commercial Services. The Project Estimator is responsible for accurately estimating the total costs associated with a project. They review subcontractor bids in order to choose the most cost-effective option. A challenging position that requires fine attention to detail. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure, especially when facing bid deadlines, and be self-motivated. Below is a list of the general duties and responsibilities for the role of Project Estimator. Please note, this list is not fully-inclusive and is intended only to be a general guide. As an employee of Concord, additional duties and responsibilities may arise that are necessary to attain the Company's goals. As such, your direct report/Manager/Executive Team may assign additional tasks on an as-needed basis.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform detailed take-offs of all trades
  • Initiate and manage entire bid process inclusive of preparation of detailed bid packages and assure accurate and proper submissions/proposals by all subcontractors
  • Accurately level all subcontractor bids
  • Maintain vendor relationships
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, clients and subcontractors
  • Interfacing with field team by communicating deliverable and procurement schedules
Sales:
review bid opportunities with local city, state, counties, and school districts, attend pre-bid meetings and provide bids.
Qualifications:
College educated 2 to 6 years of experience in budgeting/estimating commercial interiors and out of the ground construction projects Must be able to efficiently multi-task Ability to work well under pressure of deadlines and meet them Demonstrate proficiency in reading commercial construction plans and specifications Ability to value engineer
  • Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, and On-Screen Takeoff (preferred but not required) and building connected.

  • Capable of positive teamwork and ethical attitude
  • Strong communication skills verbal and written
