Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Landscaping Estimator to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately preparing cost estimates for landscaping projects, including design, materials, labor, and equipment. Your expertise will help ensure competitive pricing while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse landscaping projects, from residential to large commercial developments, by providing precise and transparent estimates that drive project success. Responsibilities Review project plans, specifications, and site conditions to develop comprehensive estimates for landscaping projects. Utilize estimating software such as LMN to prepare detailed cost proposals. Conduct site visits to assess project scope, measure quantities, and gather relevant data for accurate pricing. Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to negotiate costs and clarify project requirements. Prepare bid packages, including material lists, labor costs, equipment needs, and schedule estimates. Monitor project budgets during execution to ensure cost control and identify potential overruns early. Assist in contract negotiations by providing detailed cost analysis and supporting documentation. Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating with a focus on landscaping or related fields. Strong knowledge of construction management principles, contracts, and project management processes. Proficiency in LMN and other estimating or construction software tools. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and vendors. Familiarity with construction site operations and safety standards. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and site plans accurately. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in cost calculations.
