Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Commercial Painting Estimator to join our team. You will be the bridge between a potential project and a successful finish, responsible for analyzing blueprints, visiting job sites, and preparing accurate, competitive bids. Your goal is to secure profitable contracts while ensuring our field teams have a clear roadmap for success.
Key Responsibilities Takeoffs & Estimating:
Perform digital takeoffs using software and review blueprints/specs to determine project scope.
Site Visits:
Conduct on-site walkthroughs to evaluate surface conditions and logistical challenges.
Bid Development:
Calculate comprehensive costs for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors; prepare and submit formal proposals.
Vendor Relations:
Negotiate with suppliers for bulk material pricing and coordinate with specialty subcontractors.
Project Handoff:
Clearly communicate bid details and production expectations to Project Managers and Foremen.
Requirements & Qualifications Experience:
2-5 years of experience in construction estimating (commercial painting preferred).
Tech Savvy:
Proficiency in takeoff software (e.g., Bluebeam,Building Connect, ProCore) and MS Excel.
Blueprint Reading:
Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
Mathematics:
Sharp skills in calculating square/linear footage and production rates.
Communication:
Professional verbal and written skills for client-facing negotiations and internal collaboration. Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required What We Offer Competitive salary plus performance-based bonuses/commissions. Paid time off and holiday pay

$60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
