Reviewing plans, specifications, and project documents to determine scope of work. Conducting site visits to assess existing roof conditions, measurements, and potential challenges. Preparing detailed takeoffs for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracted work. Creating accurate cost estimates and bid proposals aligned with company pricing standards. Communicating with general contractors, suppliers, and project managers to clarify scope, pricing, and project requirements. Identifying risks, exclusions, and value‑engineering opportunities to protect project profitability. Tracking bid deadlines, addendums, and revisions to ensure timely submission. Supporting project handoff by providing detailed estimate breakdowns to operations teams.
