Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will play a crucial role in determining the projected costs and timelines for various excavation and utility projects. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with contractors, engineers, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze project plans, blueprints, and requirement documents to develop accurate cost estimates. Assess the necessary labor, materials, equipment, and time required for each project. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure estimates are comprehensive and aligned with project goals. Prepare and submit detailed cost estimates and bid proposals to clients. Review and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers. Monitor and adjust estimates as project conditions change. Maintain detailed records of project estimates, costs, and timelines. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and pricing to ensure accurate and competitive estimates. Build relationships with potential clients

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred). Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an estimator in the excavation industry. Strong understanding of excavation, utility construction, and related processes. Proficiency in estimating software and tools. Proficient with AgTek software. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
