Manufacturing Estimator Automatic Products Corporation - 3.4 Garland, TX Job Details Full-time 23 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Qualifications CAD software Math Productivity software Manual machining Technical Proficiency Full Job Description The Manufacturing Estimator is responsible for creating accurate cost estimates for incoming projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multiple manufacturing operations with a sharp eye for detail and a knack for problem-solving. Key Responsibilities Engineering/Estimating Prepare detailed cost estimates and quotations for contract manufacturing projects based on technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements. Collaborate with programming, production, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability and compliance with specifications. Prepare process documentation including work instructions, routes, and control plans. Analyze customer drawings, specifications, and technical documents to determine production requirements. Learn to be proficient in the cost processing software to calculate labor, materials, and overhead to develop accurate cost to the customer. Work with purchasing and production to gather current and past cost data. Maintain and update estimates, cots, and records of historical quotes. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of CNC and manual machining experience Strong analytical and mathematical skills Excellent communication and project management abilities Proficiency Microsoft Office, CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) and ERP/MRP systems Experience in process engineering/estimating role within a manufacturing environment is a plus Familiarity in CNC programing is a plus What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, 401k, etc.) Supportive team environment and modern facilities BqG1gSImLV
