Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled General Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. In this role, personnel must interact with technical or management specialists within the customer organization, and are responsible for participating in regular meetings with the customer organization and its stakeholders. Areas of specialized functional expertise may include Program Management, Cost Estimating, Architectural/Engineering Design and Construction Management. Personnel must serve as construction representatives, coordinating work with personnel and base representatives to ensure timely and satisfactory accomplishment of all contracts. Ensures that all construction inspection is accomplished in accordance with governing plans, specifications and in accordance with the terms of the contract. (This is not a Federal Job).
Duties :
The General Engineer duties include; serving as the Contracting Officer's technical representative, preparing construction project documents such as estimates for projects, Statement's of Work (SoW) or Objectives (SoO), inspection and evaluation of construction projects to ensure Contractor compliance with plans, specifications, and phasing, communication and coordination with project stakeholders, review of technical submissions such as submittals and Requests for Information (RFIs), and prepare broad drawings and layouts for construction work. Specialized education such as degrees from accredited programs as an engineering, architect, or related field are preferred, but not required. Experience in drafting, surveying and inspecting construction, estimating, and similar efforts will be preferred.
