This role is responsible for preparing accurate estimates for HVAC, plumbing, piping, and sheet metal systems on projects valued at $20M+ across healthcare, industrial, education, data center, and large commercial markets. Responsibilities Prepare detailed mechanical construction estimates Review plans, specifications, and bid documents Perform takeoffs for HVAC, plumbing, piping, and sheet metal scopes Develop conceptual and hard-bid estimates Coordinate vendor and subcontractor pricing Support design-build and negotiated projects Identify scope gaps, risks, and value engineering opportunities Qualifications 7+ years of commercial mechanical estimating experience Experience working directly for a mechanical contractor required Proven experience estimating projects valued at $20M or greater Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems Experience with Bluebeam, Trimble, Quotesoft, QuickPen, Accubid, OST, Procore, or similar software Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Preferred Experience Healthcare, industrial, institutional, or data center projects Design-build and design-assist experience
