Perform quantity take-offs, pricing analysis, and cost control assessments for electrical components and systems. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather accurate pricing data and negotiate favorable terms. Analyze project scope changes and update estimates accordingly to maintain competitive bids. Ensure compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and other relevant regulations throughout the estimating process. Assist in bid presentations, contract negotiations, and risk assessments to secure profitable projects.

Skills:

Proficiency in construction estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam is essential. Strong negotiation skills to effectively communicate with vendors, subcontractors, and clients. In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, construction processes, and project management principles. Familiarity with NEC standards, contracts, and construction site safety protocols. Excellent understanding of construction estimating techniques, cost control strategies, and pricing methodologies. Hands-on electrical or construction site experience to interpret technical drawings accurately. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
