Summary The Market Support team delivers continuous sales and operational support to McDonald's outside sales department, ensuring the highest level of customer service throughout every phase of the sales process. By leveraging available tools and resources, the Market Support Coordinator ensures order accuracy, resolves customer issues, expedites order processing, and supports the outside sales team with daily responsibilities tied to the McDonald's account. This role serves as a key liaison between outside sales personnel, internal departments, and our valued customers. Restaurant equipment experience is preferred but not required, many talented individuals from various industries have found long-term success at H+K. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy helping others, we'd love to meet you. Essential Functions Manages projects from initiation through completion using various internal applications. Cross-references data and verifies orders to ensure accurate system visibility. Prepares and distributes sales contracts and all relevant electronic customer correspondence. Maintains consistent communication with the Outside Sales Team to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met. Collaborate with internal teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Installation, and Logistics to coordinate successful project execution. Communicates externally with architects, engineers, general contractors, and equipment vendors. Provides recommendations and consultation to customers regarding equipment layouts aligned with McDonald's design initiatives and growth strategies. Partners with the Outside Sales Team and interfaces directly with customers to answer questions, manage project details, and resolve issues. Demonstrates strong judgment, professionalism, and accountability in day-to-day decisions. Shows exceptional attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Performs effectively under pressure and contributes positively as a team player. Performs other duties as assigned. Preferred Education, Experience & Skills Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). 1-2 years of customer service or related experience; equivalent education or experience will be considered. Experience with design or drafting is not required but will be utilized in this role. Strong spatial intelligence and ability to interpret or assist with equipment layout design. Travel flexibility as needed
