Precast Estimator This is an on‐site position located in San Marcos, Texas.

Position Summary:
The Precast Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for precast concrete components. This role involves reviewing project plans and specifications, performing take-offs, analyzing project requirements, and working closely with the sales, engineering, and production teams to ensure comprehensive bids and proposals.
Requirements:
Able to work independently in a fast‐paced environment, with strict deadlines and attention to detail. Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to follow processes Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and knowledge to contribute to a positive team environment.
Proficient with the following software:
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) A desire for self‐development and continuous improvement Willingness to learn and a positive, constructive attitude
Education:
High School Diploma or Higher Education Qualifications:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret plans and specifications
Primary Responsibilities:
Bid & Quote Management Respond promptly to all bid requests received via email. Add jobs to the Bid Board schedule and update statuses (e.g., Pre-Bid, In Progress, Quote, Complete). Schedule and track due dates for all quote requests. Create Pre-Bid entries in Titan, filling in all required information in general, external note, and prospect tabs. Create and maintain bid date/project folders in Outlook and Titan; manage archived folders. Manage and maintain the weekly quote report. Document Review & Preparation Download, save, and print blueprints; label with job number and bid date. Review plans and specifications for potential bid items, purchased items, and municipality-specific details. Conduct research on existing jobs and gather necessary customer and project information. Takeoffs & Cost Estimating Perform accurate quantity takeoffs for all structures and callouts. Highlight and identify structures on plans for estimating purposes. Input takeoff data into Titan to generate accurate quotes. Acquire quotes and cut sheets for purchased items when needed. Quote Delivery & Follow-Up Send completed quotes to customers via email using the prospect list. Follow up on quotes sent out to customers for project status updates and feedback. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Participate in estimate strategy planning and value-engineering discussions. Attend Capital Precast training sessions to expand product knowledge. Develop the ability to answer customer and sales inquiries regarding product details and capabilities. Support the sales team with timely and accurate information. Other Duties Perform all other duties as assigned to support the estimating department and company objectives.
