In this role, you will assist the company in making profitable business decisions by gathering information and preparing accurate estimates. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and has a proven track record as an Estimator. Ideally, we are looking for someone with a good understanding of construction, painting, resurfacing, repairs, and full scope of work required. This role is the main link between the field and the office, making sure jobs are organized, crews are productive, and quality standards are met. Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for field crews and the office
  • Provide detailed scope of work required at each unit to the First Choice Painting office in a timely manner
  • Follow property protocols for approval on scope of work
  • Ensure all painting work meets company quality standards, manufacturer specifications, and client requirements
  • Walk job sites regularly to inspect work, identify issues early, and verify corrections
  • Document inspections, deficiencies, and corrective actions accurately and consistently
  • Meet with on-site trades, inspectors, manufacturer representatives, property owners, and clients as required
  • Speak with work crews and answer any questions regarding units walked
  • Communicate to the First Choice Painting office any delays or changes in the scope of the work.
  • Step in to resolve production, staffing, or quality problems and recommend practical solutions
  • Enforce safety rules and promote clean, organized, and professional job sites
  • Help build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and getting the job done right What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience supervising painting or construction operations (multi-residential experience preferred)
  • Prior experience working with work crews
  • Strong working knowledge of painting methods, materials, and quality standards
  • Ability to manage multiple job sites and priorities at the same time
  • Comfortable being on-site and hands-on when needed
  • Clear, direct communication and leadership skills
  • Organized, dependable, and able to follow through
  • Strong commitment to safety and job-site standards What Success Looks Like

  • Help run consistent, well-organized job sites
  • Crews understand expectations and take pride in their work
  • Problems are addressed quickly and don't turn into bigger issues
  • Clients and site partners see a professional, well-managed operation Before You Apply
  • Please apply only if you meet the following requirements:
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in construction estimating, field estimating, or project scoping
  • Experience walking job sites or residential units and documenting scope of work
  • Strong working knowledge of painting systems, surface preparation, and common repair work
  • Ability to read construction scopes, identify deficiencies, and communicate findings clearly
  • Comfortable working both in the field and coordinating with an office team
  • Have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Driving through ought the DFW metroplex
  • Candidates with multi-family or apartment renovation experience are strongly preferred.
Pay:
$25.00 per hour
