Job Description:
Plumbing Estimator At Salmon Mechanical, we are growing rapidly & looking for skilled professionals to join our fast-paced team and fill the role of Plumbing Estimator for commercial and industrial projects and applications.
Responsibilities:
  • Read, understand and follow blueprints, submittals and specifications
  • Perform accurate take-offs using estimating software
  • Prepare and submit accurate, timely proposals for commercial and industrial plumbing projects
  • Work with suppliers and vendors for quotes
  • Review and understand specifications, site conditions and local codes
  • Work with project managers and executive team during the hand off process
  • Work alongside other departments to provide quality customer experience
  • Maintain a professional image
  • Comply with company standards
  • Follow safety protocols of Salmon Mechanical and customers
  • Complete paperwork in timely manner
Qualifications:
  • Valid Driver's License
  • 3 years+ of experience in estimating Mechanical Wetside and Plumbing projects
  • Safety minded
  • Strong understanding of Utah plumbing codes and construction standards
  • Background in construction management or completed plumbing apprenticeship
  • Attend all scheduled meetings
  • Possess analytical skills, highly organized and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Understanding of piping systems
