Reporting to the project manager, the signage estimator will be responsible for analyzing project scope, determining materials, labor, equipment, and other resources needed, calculating detailed costs, and preparing competitive bids for clients or/contractors, with company guidelines. If you are an experienced estimator, with a minimum of 3 years of proven experience (preferably in signage estimation), and can determine and prepare bids based on accurate cost and resource requirements for signage projects, we want to hear from you. Essential Responsiblities Analyze requirement documents, blueprints and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project. Determine what factors of production will influence the cost of a service or product. Prepare material estimates and cost estimates for the product or service. Create labor estimates for any project Developing and maintaining relationships with company vendors and contractors. Manage bids from vendors and contractors. Using bid data to prepare detailed cost analysis. Present prepared estimates to management and other stakeholders. Compile and record actual costs. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Report writing and strategic planning skills. Familiarity with analyzing requirement data to develop material and cost estimates for large projects. Expertise with analytic tools, such as spreadsheets and database managers. Ability to read and interpret technical documents. Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills. Exceptional time management skills. Essential Qualificaitons Bachelors Degree preferred. Commensurate experience may be acceptable. Extensive knowledge of signage processes, and site management. Solid experience and understanding of contracts, scope of work, and project documentation. Ability to perform detailed quantity takeoffs from blueprints and technical drawings. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners. Experience in cost control practices to manage budgets effectively throughout the project lifecycle. Familiarity with construction site operations and safety standards is a plus.
