• Keywood | Springfield, VA Keywood, a custom architectural millwork company based in Springfield, VA, is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Millwork Estimator to join our growing team.

You will play a key role in ensuring competitive pricing, effective project planning, and seamless communication with clients and subcontractors — all while contributing to high-quality custom millwork and cabinetry projects.

Responsibilities:

Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to develop precise material and labor estimates for millwork components Utilize estimation software such as PlanSwift , Bluebeam , and other on-screen takeoff tools to create comprehensive cost proposals Collaborate with project managers, designers, and clients to understand project scope, requirements, and constraints Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable pricing and terms while maintaining quality standards Prepare detailed bid packages including pricing, schedules, and scope of work for client presentations Assist in cost control efforts throughout the project lifecycle by monitoring budgets and identifying potential overruns early Support contract negotiations by reviewing terms related to millwork scope, delivery timelines, and payment schedules

Requirements:

Experience in millwork, cabinetry, or construction estimating preferred — but not required Must be proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and blueprints Familiarity with PlanSwift, Bluebeam , or similar on-screen takeoff software a plus Knowledge of construction site operations, safety standards, and project management principles a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication skills in English Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously We Will Train the
