In this role, you will be the key player in preparing accurate project estimates, analyzing project scopes, and collaborating closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams. Your expertise will ensure projects are financially viable, competitive, and aligned with client expectations. Duties Develop comprehensive project estimates by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project scope documents using tools such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid software. Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to negotiate pricing, contracts, and scope adjustments to secure favorable terms while maintaining project profitability. Conduct detailed construction estimating for various project types, ensuring accuracy in material costs, labor hours, equipment needs, and overall budget forecasts. Assist in project planning by providing cost analysis and budgeting support throughout the project lifecycle. Engage with construction site teams to gather real-time insights on progress, costs, and potential risks affecting project budgets. Implement cost control measures by monitoring expenses against estimates and identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements. Prepare detailed proposals and bid submissions that clearly communicate scope, pricing strategies, and value propositions to clients. Support contract negotiations by reviewing terms related to scope of work, schedules, and payment conditions to protect company interests. Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating or project consulting within the construction industry. Strong proficiency with Bluebeam Revu for document markup and collaboration; experience with HeavyBid or similar estimating software is highly preferred. Solid understanding of construction management principles, contracts, and project lifecycle processes. Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable terms for projects. Knowledge of cost control techniques, pricing strategies, and budgeting practices in construction projects. Hands-on construction site experience that provides practical insight into field operations and challenges. Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications accurately.
