Chief Estimator

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in construction estimating, with a strong focus on cost control and pricing strategies. This leadership role requires a deep understanding of construction processes, contracts, and the ability to negotiate effectively. The Chief Estimator will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are accurately estimated and delivered within budget, while also maintaining high standards of quality. Responsibilities Develop and manage comprehensive estimates for construction projects from initial concept through completion. Utilize software tools such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid to prepare detailed cost estimates. Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather necessary information for accurate pricing. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior estimators, fostering a collaborative team environment. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and best practices in construction estimating. Experience Proven experience in construction estimating with a strong portfolio of successful projects. Proficiency in estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam is required. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable contract terms. In-depth knowledge of construction management principles and practices. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools. Prior experience working on construction sites is advantageous for understanding practical applications of estimates. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all estimates. Pay:

$130,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
