Job Description
Hill International is seeking an Estimator in Seattle, Washington Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field. Optional Certifications may include PMP, PE, and/or any other relevant professional licensure or certification. Proficient with large-scale estimating software. Proficient with industry estimating databases and other estimating data sources. Demonstrates a proactive, firm and respectful approach to estimate reconciliation efforts and change order processing. Demonstrated experience with complex estimate reconciliations and change order negotiations. The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $220,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicants qualifications, education, experience and work location. Prepare pre-design cost estimates based on scope and project type. Prepare construction cost estimates from drawings, outlines, and specifications on a variety of project types. Review contractor and consultant cost proposals. Negotiate change orders. Review contract documents and contract modifications to determine scope of work and equitable cost allowance for scope changes. Proactively identify deficiencies and/or questions and actively assist the project team toward the answers.
