You will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing project plans, and collaborating with clients and contractors to ensure seamless project execution. Duties Review architectural drawings, electrical plans, and specifications to develop precise estimates for residential electrical installations. Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather accurate data for estimation purposes. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to negotiate pricing, scope of work, and contract terms. Prepare comprehensive bid packages that include material costs, labor estimates, and schedule considerations. Maintain organized records of all estimates, contracts, and project documentation for future reference and audits. Requirements Proven experience in construction estimating with a focus on residential electrical projects. Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and electrical systems design. Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable contracts while maintaining quality standards. Solid understanding of construction management principles, contracts, and project management practices. Hands-on electrical experience or construction site experience to accurately assess scope and costs. Ability to interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications effectively.
