Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Epoxy Flooring Installer specializing in commercial and industrial projects. In this role, you will lead the installation, repair, and restoration of epoxy flooring systems, ensuring durable, high-quality finishes that meet client specifications. Your expertise will help transform concrete surfaces into resilient, visually appealing floors suitable for a variety of demanding environments. Responsibilities Lead the preparation and surface assessment of concrete substrates for epoxy application, ensuring proper cleaning, grinding, and moisture testing. Mix and apply epoxy resins, primers, sealers, and topcoats with precision to achieve optimal adhesion and finish quality. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation according to project specifications. Operate a wide range of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as grinders, sanders, and buffing machines to complete flooring tasks efficiently. Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to plan work schedules and ensure timely project completion. Conduct quality inspections throughout the installation process to maintain high standards of craftsmanship and durability. Assist with training junior team members in proper epoxy flooring techniques, safety protocols, and industry best practices. Skills Extensive experience in flooring installation with a focus on epoxy systems in commercial or industrial settings. Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and project planning. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, concrete finishing techniques, tile laying, caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and floor care maintenance. Familiarity with restoration industry practices including water damage restoration and floor restoration processes. Ability to read construction plans accurately and follow detailed schematics for complex projects. Skilled in using various tools such as grinders, buffers, sanders, and other equipment essential for epoxy flooring applications. Experience in construction site safety procedures and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Knowledge of the restoration industry including water damage mitigation and floor repair techniques is a plus.
