Job Overview We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Floor Covering Installers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring materials, including tile, carpet, hardwood, and vinyl, across residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure that each installation meets high standards of quality, safety, and craftsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, develop your skills in flooring installation and restoration, and contribute to transforming spaces with precision and care. Responsibilities Measure and prepare work areas accurately using blueprint reading and schematics to ensure precise installation. Remove old flooring materials and prepare subfloors for new installations, including concrete finishing and floor care. Install various flooring types such as tile laying, hardwood, vinyl, laminate, and carpet with attention to detail. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, fitting, caulking, trimming, and fixture installation. Perform restoration work on damaged floors caused by water damage or general wear, ensuring proper water damage restoration techniques are applied. Execute remodeling projects involving flooring upgrades, cabinet installation, trim carpentry, construction painting, and fixture setup. Maintain a clean work environment by adhering to safety protocols on construction sites and ensuring proper handling of tools like buffing equipment. Experience Proven experience in flooring installation or related construction fields such as carpentry or remodeling. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and ability to interpret blueprints or schematics accurately. Hands-on experience with tile laying, caulking, fixture installation, and water damage restoration is highly desirable. Knowledge of construction site safety practices and ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely. Prior work in the restoration industry or experience with concrete finishing and floor care is a plus.
