Builder Division Location:
Phoenix, AZ (supports Arizona + Florida markets) About Us MarLam Industries is a leading provider of countertops, flooring, and cabinetry to production and custom homebuilders. Through our Arizona and Florida operations, we serve many of the top builders in the country. We are expanding our flooring division as part of a broader strategy to deliver full turnkey finish packages (flooring + cabinets + countertops) to our builder partners. Position Overview We are seeking a Flooring Specialist to lead flooring growth across both our Arizona and Florida builder operations . This is a builder-focused, project-driven role responsible for: Defining flooring scope and product strategy Owning pricing and bid development Supporting builder relationships in both markets Driving revenue growth through expanded product offerings You will work directly with our Builder Relationship Managers (BRMs) in Arizona and Florida to win new communities and increase flooring penetration within existing accounts . Key Responsibilities Product Strategy & Program Development Develop standardized flooring packages for production and semi-custom builders Recommend product mixes (LVP, tile, wood) based on builder profile and price point Align product offerings across Arizona and Florida where appropriate Pricing & Bid Ownership Define flooring scope for all bid opportunities Own pricing strategy, margin targets, and final bid numbers Review and adjust takeoffs generated by internal or outsourced teams Ensure pricing is competitive, accurate, and aligned with overall project strategy Support development of full-package bids (flooring + cabinets + countertops) Builder & Sales Support (AZ + FL) Partner closely with Builder Relationship Managers in both markets Support the teams on active bids and builder opportunities Join builder meetings as needed to present flooring solutions and options Help expand flooring into existing countertop-focused relationships Revenue Growth Identify opportunities to increase flooring penetration across builder accounts Support conversion of existing customers to full-package offerings Contribute to overall growth strategy across both regions Coordination & Execution Work with estimating to ensure accurate takeoffs and pricing inputs Coordinate with operations and vendors to ensure feasibility and consistency Help standardize pricing models, bid templates, and product offeringsQualifications Required:
3+ years experience in flooring (builder channel strongly preferred) Experience with production or semi-custom homebuilders Strong understanding of flooring materials (LVP, tile, wood) and installation Ability to read plans and define project scopePreferred:
Experience working with or competing against large providers such as Interior Logic Group or Artisan Design Group Familiarity with takeoff tools such as Measure Square Experience supporting multi-market or regional builder programs Compensation Competitive base salary Performance-based bonus tied to flooring revenue and margin Significant upside tied to division growth Why This Role Opportunity to build and lead a high-growth flooring division Direct exposure to major national builders across multiple markets Ability to drive millions in incremental revenue through full-package strategy Work with a fast-growing platform actively expanding across regionsPay:
