Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Large Format Installer Coordinator to join our Grand Format team. As the Installer Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the installation of large format graphics and signage projects. You will work closely with Project Managers, Production Manager, clients, and installers to ensure the successful execution of installation schedules. Your ability to provide solutions, manage resources, and maintain clear communication channels will be vital to the overall success of our projects. Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Project Managers, Production Manager, clients, and installers to coordinate installation schedules and provide effective solutions. Book installers based on job requirements and maintain an internally shared Google installation calendar. Generate installation work estimates for the Project Management and Sales departments. Provide installers with necessary materials, equipment, detailed instructions, visuals (maps/mockups/photos), and on-site contact information for each job. Conduct inspections and follow up with clients to ensure the quality and accuracy of installation jobs. Proactively identify and address potential problems before they arise. Expand our current pool of installers by actively recruiting new talent. Develop and enforce installation policies and procedures. Maintain or improve install margins through proper planning and execution. Calculate total time, labor, mileage, and square footage for completed installation jobs and submit the information to the accounting department. Maintain organized records of all jobs, including completion photos, costs, and important notes, for future reference. Coordinate the rental of heavy equipment as needed. Purchase hardware required for installations. Conduct site surveys as necessary.
Requirements:
Basic knowledge of printing terminology and materials. Ability to prioritize work and adjust priorities to meet aggressive deadlines and milestones. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Positive attitude and a strong sense of responsibility. Ability to proactively identify and resolve issues. Excellent time management skills. Strong follow-through on assigned tasks and responsibilities. Willingness to work after hours when required to meet project deadlines. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
