In this role, you will be responsible for installing high-quality carpets and flooring materials across various commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, ensuring durability, aesthetic appeal, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Measure and prepare surfaces accurately to ensure proper carpet fitment and alignment Remove existing flooring materials carefully, including old carpet, padding, and adhesives Install carpets using appropriate tools such as power tools, hand tools, and specialized equipment Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans to execute installations precisely Use caulking, trimming, and finishing techniques to create clean edges and seamless transitions Operate heavy equipment or power tools safely during installation processes Conduct site inspections to verify quality standards, safety compliance, and project progress Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to meet deadlines and specifications Qualifications Proven experience in flooring installation or related construction roles with a focus on carpet laying Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction drawings Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation relevant to flooring projects Knowledge of construction management principles and estimating processes is a plus Ability to work effectively on construction sites in various environments including residential, commercial, or restoration projects Strong understanding of safety protocols and OSHA standards for construction work Additional skills such as plumbing, electrical experience, masonry, or roofing are advantageous but not required Join us if you're passionate about craftsmanship in construction!
