Job Description
Job Overview We are actively seeking a skilled and dedicated Terrazzo Flooring Specialist / Installer to join our team. This role involves installing new terrazzo flooring for commercial venue. The ideal candidate will possess a strong expertise in traditional and modern terrazzo installation, repair, and restoration. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and patching subfloors for optimal terrazzo installation. Install, repair, and restore terrazzo flooring using traditional cementitious and epoxy methods. Mix, pour, grind, and polish terrazzo to achieve smooth, high-gloss finishes. Cut and install divider strips, follow design patterns, and ensure seamless results. Perform maintenance, patching, and repairs on existing terrazzo floors. Maintain a clean and safe job site, adhering to all safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience as a Terrazzo Installer, Finisher, or Specialist (3+ years preferred). Strong knowledge of terrazzo materials, mixing ratios, grinding/polishing techniques, and industry best practices. Ability to read blueprints, layouts, and design specifications. Reliable transportation and valid California driver's license. Physical stamina to handle manual labor, lifting, and working on your feet for extended periods. Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship. Tools of the trade (grinders, polishers, mixers, etc.) are a plus.
