This is an entry-level to intermediate role ideal for anyone looking to build a career in the tile trade. On-the-job training and mentorship are provided. Key Responsibilities Assist the tile setter with surface preparation, material staging, and job site setup Mix mortar, thinset, and grout under the direction of the tile setter Carry and organize tile, tools, and materials as needed Operate basic hand tools under supervision (grout float, margin trowel, sponge, spacers) Learn to use tile saw and power tools under direct supervision Perform site cleanup: sweeping, tile disposal, washing tools and equipment Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines on the job site Required Qualifications Willingness to learn and work hard; prior construction or trades experience a plus Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform sustained physical labor Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications 6+ months of construction or tile-related experience Basic knowledge of tile tools and materials Compensation -

Tile Helper Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour. Actual pay determined by demonstrated skill and experience.
