Duties Measure, cut, and install various types of tiles in swimming pools, ensuring proper alignment and adhesion for a flawless finish Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute tile layouts accurately Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying waterproofing or caulking materials to ensure durability and water resistance Use hand tools and power tools effectively for tile cutting, grout application, and surface preparation Collaborate with other construction professionals such as carpenters, water damage restoration specialists, and fixture installers to coordinate project timelines Perform restoration work on existing pool tiles or surfaces damaged by water or age to maintain aesthetic appeal and structural integrity Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris properly, and adhering to safety protocols at all times Requirements Proven experience in construction estimating, flooring installation, tile laying, or related fields within the construction or restoration industry Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to pool tile projects Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, buffing equipment, and other installation tools Familiarity with construction site safety practices and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Skills in carpentry, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, concrete finishing, remodeling or painting are a plus Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques and floor care procedures is desirable Ability to interpret schematics and technical instructions accurately while maintaining attention to detail We are committed to providing paid opportunities for all roles.
