The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flooring installation, with experience in various aspects of construction and restoration. This role requires a hands-on approach, as you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and installing carpet and other flooring materials according to specifications. A commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction is essential. •Pay will be determined on experience. Duties Measure and cut carpet and flooring materials to fit designated areas accurately. Install carpets, tiles, and other flooring types while ensuring proper alignment and secure fittings. Read and interpret diagram & work order to determine installation requirements. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various installation tasks. Conduct site assessments to evaluate conditions before installation begins. Maintain a clean work environment by disposing of waste materials appropriately after each job. Requirements Proven experience in flooring installation, including carpet laying. Familiarity with construction estimating and site experience is preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment related to flooring installation. Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
