In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying epoxy coatings, and ensuring flawless finishes that meet industry standards. Your expertise will contribute to transforming spaces with durable, high-quality flooring solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial to residential settings, utilizing your skills in flooring installation and restoration. Responsibilities Prepare concrete surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and repairing to ensure optimal adhesion of epoxy coatings Mix and apply epoxy resins accurately according to project specifications Use hand tools and power tools to install flooring components, including caulking, trim carpentry, and fixture installation when needed Perform floor care tasks such as buffing, polishing, and finishing to achieve a smooth, professional look Skills Surface prep: diamond grinding, shot blasting, crack and spall repair, moisture testing Mix and apply primers, epoxy/polyaspartic/urethane systems, flakes, quartz, metallics Install stem walls, cove base, and decorative broadcast systems Maintain jobsite safety, cleanliness, and daily progress documentation (photos, notes) Operate/maintain grinders, vacuums, hand tools, and mixing equipment Read scopes, follow specs, and communicate proactively with the project lead and clients Load/unload materials; ensure accurate inventory and waste disposal What You Bring 1-3+ years of epoxy/polyaspartic flooring or concrete coatings experience (preferred) Strong understanding of concrete moisture, profile (CSP), and repair techniques Comfortable using planetary grinders, HEPA vacs, and hand grinders Able to lift 50-75 lbs, stand/kneel for extended periods, and work in varying conditions Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; clean driving record preferred High attention to detail, pride in workmanship, and a team-first mindset
