Job Description

Installation Quality Manager Atlanta, GA Full-Time Build More Than Floors. Build a Career With Preferred Floor & Tile Co. At Preferred Floor and Tile Co. We specialize in turnkey flooring solutions for national and regional home builders, single-family rental companies, and multi-family property managers. Now, we are looking for an Installation Quality Manager who is ready to step into a fast-paced, hands-on role where leadership, problem-solving, and relationship-building are at the heart of what you do. What You Will Do Perform job site visits including pre-walks and post-walks to make sure everything lines up with the original quote Confirm material needs, design layouts, and job readiness before work begins Manage daily operations of ongoing installation projects Provide direction to installer crews and ensure projects are completed on time and up to quality standards Communicate job updates and changes with the team, scheduling department, and customers Resolve job issues professionally and efficiently, ensuring a smooth experience for everyone involved Assist with onboarding and developing new installers to grow the talent base Handle materials, labor needs, change orders, layout changes, and job site surprises as they happen Ensure accurate and timely payroll reporting for installer crews Manage installer schedules and adjust as needed to meet deadlines What You Bring to the Table Strong experience and knowledge of flooring installations, including carpet, LVP, hardwood, and tile Previous experience in customer service or installation management Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to use job management software, smartphones, and other tech tools A valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation Willingness and ability to lift up to 50 pounds Strong attention to detail and organizational skills A positive, team-first attitude and the ability to lead and inspire others Basic Requirements High school diploma or GED One to two years of experience in a related field Strong written and verbal communication skills Basic math skills for measurements and calculations Ability to follow detailed instructions and adapt to changing job needs Must be able to kneel, push, pull, and perform physical tasks related to the job Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments Why You Will Love Working With Us Fast-growing company with real opportunities for advancement Supportive, family-style work culture Competitive compensation and a chance to grow your career We align your personal, professional, and financial goals with our company goals Join PF & TCO and take the next step in your career.
