In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and restoring a variety of tile surfaces across residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure high-quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse remodeling and restoration projects, bringing aesthetic appeal and durability to our clients' spaces. Responsibilities Measure, cut, and install tiles using hand tools and power tools with precision and care. Read blueprints and schematics to determine layout and tile placement for various surfaces. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives or mortar. Perform flooring installation, tile laying, caulking, trim carpentry, and fixture installation as needed. Assist with restoration projects involving water damage repair, floor care, and industry-specific restoration techniques. Use construction estimating skills to assess project scope, materials needed, and timelines. Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols and properly handling tools and materials. Skills Extensive experience with construction estimating and blueprint reading. Proficiency in flooring installation, tile laying, caulking, and trim carpentry. Strong knowledge of construction site procedures and safety standards. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, concrete finishing equipment, buffing machines, and schematics interpretation. Experience in water damage restoration, floor care, remodeling, cabinet installation, construction painting, handyman tasks, fixture installation, and concrete finishing. Ability to read technical drawings such as schematics for precise project execution. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail; capable of handling restoration industry-specific challenges effectively.
