Job Description

Commercial Flooring Installer Position Summary The Commercial Flooring Installer works under the supervision of a Lead Installer on commercial job sites. This role requires solid trade knowledge, consistent productivity, and the ability to complete installations accurately with minimal supervision. Responsibilities Install a variety of commercial flooring products, including: Carpet tile Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) Sheet vinyl Rubber flooring Patterned carpet and related materials Perform floor preparation tasks as directed, such as scraping, patching, leveling, and moisture mitigation Read and interpret basic layouts, plans, and specifications Execute precise cuts and maintain clean, consistent installations Assist the Lead Installer with layout decisions and on-site problem-solving Maintain organized tools and a clean, safe job site at all times Expectations Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to work each day Maintain production pace while meeting quality standards Work independently when required and take direction as needed Deliver high-quality workmanship with no shortcuts or callbacks Work nights and weekends as project schedules require Travel frequently, as most projects are out of town Qualifications & Experience Proven experience in commercial flooring installation (required) Ownership of basic installation tools and proficiency in their use Ability to read a tape measure and follow layout lines accurately Working knowledge of adhesives, materials, and installation methods Valid driver's license (required) Social Security card (required) Clean background Additional Information This is not a helper position. Candidates must be capable installers who can maintain productivity, meet quality standards, and produce clean, professional work. Applicants who do not meet these expectations should not apply.
